Here is our Annual December eNewsLetter highlighting and emphasizing our timely, viable and highly successful ministry to your local government school. It is in the interest of the children's tender spirits that warrants a little pro-active preservation of their Christian discipleship. To wit, everyone should know about the School Choice options of home schooling, etc. and very seriously consider whether this is the best option for their child and family. This link to Barna Research explains the tittle: Transforming Your Children Into Spiritual Champions - [Alternate Source ] Press Release on Barna's latest research and book regarding discipleship of children. Barna says the research not only changed his own views, but also clarifies why churches struggle to have significance in our culture.

This research combined with the HISWAYs.ORG`s website articles & references & bibliography (some linked above) should say to Christian parents, who want spiritually healthy Christian children, that they should:

1. Homeschool their children (at least until age 14, minimum); or 2. Pay for private Christian school education (at least until age 14, minimum); and/or 3. Have a daily family Bible reading or study with the kids until they leave home.

Parents should consider taking extra care to take time to schedule extra family events to develop discipleship to take advantage of "the reason for the season" i.e. Jesus at this most significant time in their child's spiritual growth. For parents and teachers see:

Have your class read from the Bible about the birth of Jesus. The federal court case of Florey vs. Sioux Falls in 1980 confirmed the fact that "music, art, literature and drama having religious themes or basis are permitted as part of the curriculum for school-sponsored activities and programs if presented in a prudent and objective manner and as a traditional part of the cultural and religious heritage of the particular holiday."

Have Christian students in your class share what their families or churches are doing to celebrate Christmas.

Have students speculate on the question: What if Jesus had never been born? To help students make the connection between the birth of Jesus and their lives, you can prepare a lesson on the ways Christianity has affected American history. You might include such things as: the Pilgrims' motivation for coming to America, the Declaration of Independence, the phrase on our coin, "In God We Trust," the abolition movement, and how the Rev. Martin Luther King's Christian faith motivated him in the civil rights movement.

Lead a class discussion on teachings of Jesus that are often referred to in American culture. These teachings are encapsulated in such expressions as "Do unto others...," "Go the extra mile," "Turn the other cheek" and "the good Samaritan."

Read to students from Luke 2 ('Luke 2' only has 1207 words in the KJV.) ; and teach them related vocabulary words for a language arts unit.

Please forward this to your friends, parents, grandparents and neighbors or anyone interested in building a strong family made up of strong (disciplined & righteous) children with a strong spirit.

It is that time of year when we hope that our children will get to learn something substantial. It is that time of the year when as parents, teachers and grandparents we can influence the spiritual nature of our local schools. Let's take the opportunity to influence them with the Holy Spirit.
    This year's "Public School Spirit" focuses on 3 concurrent activities in the month of September.
     1. Comparing The Declaration of Independence
with The 10 Amendments [Bill of Rights].

Common Features in a Brief Tutorial. by HISways USA, Inc.

    Why is this important? Because they both focus on limiting state tyranny. The common features of these two documents are:

   1. They were written about the same time, by the same "people" i.e. our 1776 Founding Fathers.
   2. They both targeted similar government `usurpations` and `absolute Tyranny`.
   3. They were designed for the protection of the people from government excesses.
   4. They both identify a people void of class or privilege yet demanding righteous human treatment.

Without being overly analytical, the itemized `Tyranny` on the left is annotated with red protections from the Bill of Rights on the right. The point of the exercise is to contrast the old and current tyrannies and the destruction of our rights and powers, i.e. our 10 Amendments. This destruction has been joined by enemies inside and out, by presidents, congresses and the courts both national, state and local. This destruction is identified by those enemies of the people of the USA that lobby, judge and campaign for restraints on and or the elimination of one or all of the Ten Amendments.

Government School is almost out for the summer.
All over the USA there has been a lot of talk about 'Failing Schools'. We normally think of it as failure to educate the kids, like not meeting standards. This is somewhat true but in my humble opinion the larger issues are the teaching of Secularist Religious Dogma and Anti-Constitutionalism i.e. Anti-Americanism. This eNewsLetter will prompt the parent, grandparent and tax payer to look at some ways to defend the children's mind and spirit in the fall. This March 30th is Easter. We want to promote the 3rd phase of the Holiday Cards project: The Easter Holiday Cards. It is termed '3rd phase' in the sense that it is the 3rd Holiday of the school year. Actually you could use this as the '1st phase' with the assumption that you would carry it over into next year's Holiday celebrations where Phase 2 would be Thanksgiving and Phase 3 would be Christmas.

5. School Holiday Cards: 3 cards / packets: Order in Oct., Nov. or March.

A five year plan: Give every teacher and administrator in the district/ building/ school or class a card. Or, start with every teacher and administrator in your church, SS class or club etc.. This is a good teacher support activity by individual parents or by a church or association.

It is called "Religious Freedom Day" and celebrated on January 16th in honor of Thomas Jefferson's Religious Freedom Act that was passed on Jan 16, 1789. This particular excerpt comes from the lecture on "The Kingly Office of Christ." Dr. Hodge has just finished expounding the implication of Christ's kingship for the civil government stating that the State has the obligation to be Christian, acknowledging Christ's Lordship and following His Word. He now draws out this obligation further as it relates to State-controlled education (the public school system) showing that it is impossible for a system under a supposedly "neutral" State to be anything other than a vicious engine of atheism. Introduction:"The Parents' State of Education Messages: 2001 To Date." This group of annual "Messages" (To see the list click: Off TOC above) are best understood as a series of serious, valid and passionate parental grievances, with substantial supporting evidence combined with unique solutions. These "Messages" on government education are directed, primarily, to our legislators and, secondly, to the church both of which share some responsibility or are perceived as knowledgeable institutions that exist to help parents direct their children to the best education available. However, after decades of reforms, they can also be perceived as erecting impediments against, or, acquiescing to, substantial impediments against parental direction and control of the education of our public school children especially in larger districts where political bias dominate, and control the school board agenda.
