ABSTINENCE CURRICULUM To Whom It May Concern, I would like to go on record in support of our current "Sunshine State" abstinence standard of educating our children as found in Florida Statute Title 48, Chapter 1003, Section 46 which states; • Teach abstinence from sexual activity outside of marriage as the expected standard for all school-age students while teaching the benefits of monogamous heterosexual marriage. Furthermore, let it be known that we stand in opposition to a school based curriculum that would be classified as Comprehensive Sex Education or Abstinence Plus, including Get Real about AIDS.
