RE: Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for the 2017-74 Religious Expression in Public Schools Law.

Dear Honorable Representative Larry Ahern:

        This is a follow up to Email (#1) that I sent on August 25, 2017.  In that email I listed 10 questions that perhaps would be of interest to me and other parents and educators.  This letter is specifically asking for answers to questions #-8 & 10 of that email.  I want to emphasize, by example, the extra ordinary efforts that public school students, parents and teachers had, and still have to go through, to guarantee the "some" exercise of their basic freedoms in schools.  For instance, Gateways To Better Education developed a Restoration of Religious Holidays campaign where "holiday cards" like the Easter Card enclosed is used to educate students, parents and teachers about the legal way to teach about America's religious holidays.  Who would have thought that Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas would ever come into disrepute in public schools?
        The Easter Card is one of the 3 Gateway cards that can be used in their Restoration of Religious Holidays campaign to educate those involved in explaining the importance of our holidays and the role they play in our culture.  Each card consists of a short holiday story followed by some history and basic traditional, cultural, legal, religious freedoms of that particular holiday that includes the 1999 USDOE guidelines on religious holidays.  Why is there so much ignorance on such basic freedoms among parents and educators?
        I have clipped Questions #-8 & 10. of my previous email because of their similarity in order to emphasize the need for a larger forum that already exists i.e. GTBE's Faith, Freedom and Public School Education Workshop, for educating our teachers and administrators in the intent and purpose of Florida's new 2017-74 Religious Expression in Public Schools Law.

8.  It seems appropriate to instruct teachers and administrators in the legalities of this liberty and perhaps providing Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for them to know their boundaries.  Gateways to Better Education has a Faith, Freedom and Public School Education Workshop for teachers and administrators.  Texas already allows 7 CEUs for their school personnel completing the Education Workshop.  [Can FL school personnel receive CEUs for such an important law?]

10.  How would, or could, [CEUs for] the 2017-74 Religious Expression in Public Schools Law apply to K-12.com [educators in] Florida's online schools?
