This year's "Public School Spirit" focuses on 3 concurrent activities in the month of September.

1.  The first "Spiritual activity" is encouragement for your kids to take their Bibles to school: Scriptures In Schools Week , http://www.bringyourbible.com/ , " September 20-26, 2009 , Return the Bible to America's Public Schools & Restore Biblical Literacy to America's Children  ** Millions of Christian American Students, Teachers, & School Staff Should  BRING YOUR BIBLES TO SCHOOL **"    They have a calendar of activities for every day of the week.  On Wednesday of that week is See You at the Pole which is a different organization where the students pray around the school's flag pole. (See number 2) etc. ....

2.  The second "Spiritual activity" is encouragement for: Meeting with your children or taking them to the "See You At The Pole"on Wed. Sept. 23th 2009.  While at the pole network with other parents' (+grand) & teachers to pray with one another. .https://syatp.com/

[Update; 9/20/09;  A Local youth pastor is promoting a "SYATP Rally".  He is using the Sunday night service just prior to the Wed. SYATP event to pray for the students, parents, teachers, and staff of all of the local schools.  He has emailed other youth pastors in his area to participate in the service.  He will tape to the church walls a "single sheet" sign with each schools name on them ; and will have the students, parents, youth pastors and alumni to meet at their school sign to pray for each other, the school and the SYATP event.  This was a very nice service to emphasize prayer, Christian brotherhood and SYATP attendance at each school.]

3.  Some additional coordinated "Programs and Projects" that can be leveraged during this week and month are listed here:   https://hisways.org/usa/index.html#StudentSpirit10-em  , For instance,  `TRUTH FOR YOUTH Bibles`- (see #4 below), or/and 10 Commandment Book Covers, and THE NATIONAL MOTTO:  `In God We Trust` Patriotic Posters.  (A gift for your public school teacher or principal.)

4.  A very effective and unique outreach, "The Truth For Youth" will be given to all teenagers who commit to give the Bibles to their unsaved friends in school. Limit: One Bible per teenager in each home.
