Reading the Bible Through - A Time Schedule to Read The Bible Through.

    Table 1.  The total number of verses in the 1769 Authorized KJV Bible is 31,102 [1, 2].  This is roughly equivalent to other translations.  With this information, a calculation of the approximate time to read the Bible through is possible based on the approximate time allotted per day and per week.  This does not account for study time used for word searches or taking notes.
    Table 2.  The total number of chapters in the Bible is 1189.  
       Assumption:  A daily and weekly habit of reading the approximate number of verses or chapters listed.
    Resources:  The Reading Plans below the Tables include some of the choices in Tables 1 & 2.  For instance, The "Harmony of the Gospels" below takes approximately 63 days.
