(Update 9/12/2018) The following 2 Questions & links below show an apparent, intentional inaccuracy in the Masoretic Text which was used to translate most of the modern Bibles.  However this error doesn't touch any of the basic systematic Biblical doctrines that are consistent from Genesis to Revelation. • 1.  Performance of viewing the online video pages..   If you have a DSL (broadband) modem or faster and can view YouTube videos you should be OK.  If the videos frequently stop for buffering and you are on a wireless router consider connecting the router to the computer with a cable to eliminate the work of encryption required for wireless connections.  Encryption causes a slight time delay i.e. a bottle neck at the computer.  The work of encryption is not required and not used on direct cable connections so videos download and play faster.  Dialup modems probably will not perform satisfactorily.  (Disregard the rest of this info. unless you are copying/making CDs.  It is advised to go online to: index.html for the latest Tech Stuff information.)
    
• 2.  Limitations on showing the CD videos.   [ Top ] [ Back ] 

1. The first 2 videos in the series might still be on the CD and are designed to play on a Windows computer with a CD drive.  The biggest limitation to the online videos is that it is difficult to start a second or third viewing at say 45 minutes but easy with VLC player and the 2 videos on the CD.   The online videos cannot be played at a faster speed like 150% but the VLC player can.  So there are many advantages to using the VLC player with the two CD videos.
2. The CD splash menu worked on WinME and above but Win7 had slight splash screen issues so a link is provided to go to the online pages. ( https://hisways.org/steward/TrueScienceCD/index.html ).
3. All of the web pages on the CD menu worked in Win95 and WinME when HTML pages were correctly "associated" with a default browser.
4. If video player VLC-0.8.6 does not work on your older Win95/98/Me computers, try to drill down on the CD to the videos  GardenEden.flv with your default video player.  If that is not convenient here is a lengthly alternative for the older computers; but, it seems like too much work: 
   1. The KernelEx helper file from VLC was added to the CD so that the videos might be shown with VLC on older computers. The KernelEx program was made by VLC and is designed to be installed on your computer.  Get it from videolan.org .   A installation dialog box will initiate the install.  The installation program also  requires the "Microsoft Layers" utility program.  If you don't have it; the install program will try to connect to the internet to download it from Microsoft. 
5. Videos # 3-7 are designed to be run in streaming mode in an updated browser like FireFox 3.6+ or IE and requires an internet connection.  If you can view YouTube you should be OK.
6. For teaching a class or larger audiences consider connecting the computer to a projector.

• 6.  CD Envelopes Printing Options for printing CD envelopes or using sandwich bags as CD covers!  

If you make copies of the CD you should:  
  1.  Identify the CD disk with a permanent marker.  Just write on the top "CSE CD1" "Copy No. __ "  and the "Date".  Or
  2.  Identify the CD disk with a ball point pen on scotch tape on the top   "CSE CD1" "Copy No. __ "  and the "Date".
  3.  Buy CD envelopes and print Text Boxes from the [] CD-EnvPrint.html [] page or PDF. + (See Print Option #1. below).    Or
  4.  Print the Text Boxes on the back of the CoverLetter.html (see Print Option #2. below.).

Print Setup Option 1: (see pic at left)   Set your browser's Print Options to print on 5" or larger envelopes:    All boxes UNchecked, Scale 100% , Top & Left margins set at 0.10"  each.    Just insert the 5" envelopes so as to print in the upper left corner.  Print the CoverLetter.html page, fold it up and put it in the CD envelope with the CD. (Hints:   Print True Science CD #1 Info. Text Boxes from this page: CD-EnvPrint.html or PDF.  Do not print on the envelope window but rather on the back. ) Print Setup Option 2:  Substitute a clear plastic sandwich bag for a 5" envelope.  But Print the True Science CD #1 Info. Text Boxes on regular size paper.  On the back side print the CoverLetter.html page.  Fold the paper with Text Boxes facing outward.  Put the folded paper and the CD in the sandwich bag and distribute.
