As a brief precursor to the overview video below, it is convenient to show the godly and biblical structure that our founders embedded in our founding documents and in the design of our government.  This pyramid picture recreated from a CrossExamined.org TV seminar gives inspiration to the essential and important "line of authority" for "The People's Law".  It also explains the source for the "unalienable rights" that have never been so esteemed nor protected in all of history.  These two ideas explain Skousen's subtitle: "A MIRACLE That Changed The World".
         You might like to confirm that the Hebrew word for God is defined as The supreme God, magistrate [source] .  And the book of Genesis implies that God created all of the "things" first to support and supply all of the needs of his crowning creation Adam and Eve i.e. People.  So that People are to honor and obey God, are more important and more valuable than "things"; and, they are given the responsibility to take care of the "things" and to love their neighbor.  You might also recall that government is a "thing".  God has handed down his Natural Law and the Commandments for an ordered society.  People are given the choice to trust and obey or not.  Both the Natural Law and the Commandments Principles are embodied in The Constitution.  The People voluntarily agree to be ruled under God's hierarchy and his "line of authority" which is the authority for "The People's Law"  who elect representatives to carry out the duties of our governmental "thing".   The National Motto is very appropriately: "In God We Trust".  The default religion, i.e. the Christian Religion, of our country explains why the Founders wanted "The Five Fundamental Points" of religion taught in all public schools; and, why the immoral, anti-Constitutional mob minority wants it out of our failing public schools.
         Consider now that the evil one wants to usurp God's authority and to be worshiped by people thereby displacing and demeaning God, as well as His Word, His righteousness His Commandments and His morality.  The devil lied to Eve and Adam so that they doubted God and they ate of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil [source].  Eve and Adam chose to sin which separated them from God and his love.  After this God called the devil a "snake" i.e. a thing.  So we have the devil, a "thing", trying to elevate himself above Eve and Adam i.e. People by lying and hating people to death and eternally separating them from God.  This is exactly upside down of God's hierarchy which is God to Adam and Eve to things.  To leave lying and hating and come to God you must repent and trust Jesus, The Messiah, as your Lord and Savior. 
         As mentioned, the duty of the government is to protect, from mobs, The People unalienable liberties given to all mankind by God.   In the video link below you will see how foreign and domestic mobs seek to expel God and rebelliously wrench power and control over The People in order to take away all liberties, make The People slaves and victims of a hate filled mob government.  Since the Supreme Court's activism removed Bible reading from all public schools on June 17, 1963 , we have had  Years i.e.  graduating classes without The Bible, even indoctrinating evolution heresy and preventing any alternative creation discussion!!  All of those graduating classes have been denied the history, the knowledge, the wisdom of The Bible and the brilliant research, the scholarly logic and higher criticism of our Founding Fathers all of which are essential to understanding the inspiration and motivation for the fundamental principles of The Constitution i.e."The People Law".  What a continuing public education travesty; totally the responsibility of the mobsters in control of the last  Supreme Court sessions!  It's a war.  See An Indictment Against Judicial Activism (Item 1963) .
          As a group, the mobsters have a certain profile (see also Dinos and Rinos ).  They are proficient liars who mock the truth who are intolerant haters ( "A lying tongue hates those it hurts," Proverbs 26:28a (NIV)).  They are murderers ("Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him." (1 Jn 3:15(NKJV)) who also condone infanticide and other life terminating, abusive and victimizing  policies.  If you are in the camp of the liar, hater and murderer repent spiritually.   Again, stop denying your lying, hating and murdering ways, accept God's eternal salvation plan.  You must repent and trust Jesus, The Messiah, as your Lord and Savior.
