   This February we have several instructive activities to choose from.  
   The first [ I. ] is a special February activity.  It is  "The Students' 11th Annual  Day of Purity " [ https://www.lc.org/DayOfPurity/ ] that occurs on Valentines Day, Saturday, February 14, but observed on Friday.  There is a Planning Guide that has resources for K-12 and college level, including this one page document briefly describing 9 STD's (PDF) i.e. nine reasons for intelligent people to abstain from the plague of victimizing lust and wait for the blessings of true love.  Recall that HAPPY stands for Highest Attainable Principles of Purity for You(th) on VALENTINES DAY.  Will you be my HAPPY Valentine?

 point HIV has only been public since 1985!   So the CDC finally chimes in after 2-1/2 decades:  According to the CDC, "the only 100-percent effective way not to get HIV is:
Don’t have sex. (until legally married !)  Abstaining from sex means not having any type of sex at all - oral, anal, or vaginal.  Abstinence is 100% effective in preventing sexual transmission of HIV". (bold & green emphasis added ed.)
    The second [ II. ] is the acknowledgment of the Anniversary and success of our Religion Policy Petition.  February 2007 was the start of the citizen's petition to the School Board asking them to adopt  The Liberty Counsel's  MODEL SCHOOL BOARD POLICY REGARDING RELIGION.  If you have been following this eNewsLetter you are aware of our recent, local success in this endeavor.  February is our annual reminder and a gentle encouragement for you to petition your local school district.  Why? because it is so important and it is so easy.  Basically all you do is download and print and modify our petition template.  Get a couple hundred signatures.  Take it to the school board and let them pass it. We've been busy! I'm excited to share a quick update with you. Below you'll find a few links of relevant video footage from our recent activities. The first was showcased at our 20-year anniversary banquet. If you missed the banquet, make sure you don't miss the video.

The second is a very inspiring and encouraging story of two churches which have followed God's wisdom and pursued private and home schooling. We were honored to have them as guests at our banquet. I pray their stories inspire you and your church to also pursue God's wisdom in giving our children a legacy of a Christian education.

The last two links are a speech I gave in mid-2014. I attended the Charleston 9/12 Project’s Liberty Rally and gave a seven minute speech on my convictions about the state of the country. Liberal bloggers picked up on the speech, even to the point that the Huffington Post did an entire article and video segment on it. The article had an estimated 100,000+ views, maybe a lot more.

OK state senator authors bill to allow Bible as classroom subject  January 26, 2015,  An Oklahoma state senator has introduced a bill that would protect public schools from lawsuits when the Bible is taught as history.   (Track this bill.) SB21&Session=1500   (Ask your state representative if he or another conservative would sponsor a similar bill in your state.)

PSS- Since last month's eNewsLetter there has been a few modifications to "NullifyEstablishmentTyranny.html"but no progress on "NullifyExpressionTyranny.html".  I signed up with the 10th Amendment Center and was expecting some experts to advise me on the religious freedom issues since the center doesn't have that topic i.e 1st Amendment in their example legislation list.  I received no return communication to my inquiry and got no help.  Therefore the proposed policy will have to be proffered in our newsletter.  BTW there are some interesting events happening in the state legislatures that should get reported here next month.  I'll keep you informed of any progress.
