Howdy Folks,
        Welcome to our June 2016 eNewsLetter.  [ Index of all eNewsLetters ; This page online: ]
      Because the Bible is so extra ordinarily wonderful and usually overlooked by many people, we are going to briefly review some of the many benefits and accolades of the Bible in society; and also, provide some links for additional proof for it's Truth and accuracy from several disciplines like archeology, history and science.  
      Steve Green the CEO of Hobby Lobby, who recently won a suit at the Supreme Court to uphold personal and corporate religious conscientiousness prohibiting the government from forced payment to support and promote immoral behaviors like fornication and preborn baby killing activities, services and products through Obamacare, has written a book entitled: "The Bible in America.  What We Believe About The Most Important Book in Our History".  He is interested in starting a Bible Museum and from his research regarding interest and general acceptance; he shares some findings in his book.  The purpose for the brief review is to wet your appetite for reading his book and to answer some questions at the end of this review.
        Some of the highlights from certain chapters are:

2.  The Bible in History.  TRANSLATIONS,  TYNDALE'S , GENEVA , KING JAMES BIBLE, INDIAN BIBLES, BIBLE SOCIETIES, THE MODERN AMERICAN TRANSLATIONS,  
3. The Bible in Science.  SCOPES REVISITED (pg. 64), "Gallup asked two questions" ... "By analyzing how people answered both of these questions, Gallup calculated that 30% would be upset if only evolution were taught.  Far fewer (18%) would be upset if creationism were taught but not evolution.  Significantly, only 4% of Americans would be upset if both evolution and creation were taught." 
4.  The Bible in Education.  "... the Bible was once a part of regular life.  A survey of state universities conducted by James Angell (President of the University of Vermont and the University of Michigan) found that in 1890, 90% of the schools held their own chapel services (50% of which were mandatory).  In addition, Angell's survey revealed that 25% of the schools required church attendance."  Green cites Benjamin Rush's "A Defense of the Use of the Bible in Schools" (See our reprint in pdf.) and The New England Primer as public school textbooks.
