On a side note I've noticed that there are no popular "All Saints Day" songs (Nov. 1st) nor popular "Thanksgiving" songs for November rememberances.  Without much looking I found a Bible verse Nehemiah 12:46  For long ago, in the days of David and Asaph, there had been directors for the musicians and for the songs of praise and thanksgiving to God.  A searchfound dozens and in the 1956 Baptist Hymnal page 494 is a single: "Thanksgiving Hymn" (Music Edwin McNeely, Lyrics Johann M.   1. The Pinellas County School Board with the Education Workshop and we didn't get very far so the initative is diminished for now.  See our Blog_FFPS_EduWkshop
  2. Then we contacted our state representatives to see if FL public School personnel could get Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for taking Gateways' Educator Workshop.  This is somewhat diminished because the focus was didrected in #3 below.  See our  Blog_FFPS_EduCEUs
  3. While we were contacting our state representatives about CEUs in #2 above, they passed a freedom of Religious Expression in schools for all school personnel.  Since the Religious Expression Policy subject matter is quite legal it resulted in our renewed interest in the process and we provided additional recommendations for CEUs.  See our Blog_FL_Religious_Expression.
