       This month is special because at this time of year we still get-to give thanks to God for his many blessings on our nation and for giving us such great Founding Fathers who established 'We, The People's' Mission Statement taken from The Declaration of Independence that describes our enduring domestic purpose:
'We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal (at conception), that they are endowed, by their Creator, with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.'
Let's pray that:
1. SCOTUS can get it right, or
2. that Congress and Legislatures can write a benevolent bill for Abstinence Sex Ed., so
3. that the school boards can teach it and
4. that the children can benefit from it.

If this looks like a mountain that's too high to climb then consider the equivalent depth to which we have fallen.
         And regarding, The Constitution:  Daniel Webster stated in 1802:  "Miracles do not cluster, and what has HAPPENED ONCE IN 6,000 YEARS, may not happen again. Hold on to the Constitution, for if the American Constitution should fail, there will be anarchy throughout the world."

  6. Will states go overboard with collecting online sales taxes? - 3:40 m. YouTube Fox Business, Published on Jun 21, 2018, Fox News senior judicial analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano on how the Supreme Court ruled that states can force online retailers to collect sales taxes.  ( I have a web site at neprimer.com  which sells The New England Primer, 1996.  It has been operated as an internet mail order business, not a walk in store.  Mail order businesses have traditionally been free of sales tax for out of state sales because there is no store in other states.  I will resist taxing customers based on the assumption that the Supreme Court will have to reverse itself.  Other reasons are that I do not take credit cards; and, payment is by check or money order sent by snail mail and shipping is by snail mail.  Additional reasons are: the web site is designed and operated in FL, is hosted on the internet from TX.  The final reason is complexity.
    • What Is the Sales Tax Rate in Florida by County? What does this mean for you? Practically speaking, it means that you'll pay a different sales tax rate in each Florida county. The (linked) table below lists the current rates for each county in the state. (emphasis added)
    •  FL sales taxes are already complicated for in-state FL orders; for example, in FL we have a state base tax rate of 6% plus most of the other 67 counties already have a referendum approved extra county tax rate that varies up to 1% i.e. $0.01.  So some total tax rates vary as 6% ,6.50%, 7% and 7.5%.  So the taxing complication in FL for 67 counties is an excessive burden on small businesses.  Besides the variable rate, the term is variable and is put on the local ballot for renewal or modification about every 10 years.
    • What will the Sales Tax Rates look like nation wide?    You can guess what would happen when all 3,142 counties and county equivalent administrative units  (Wikipedia) in the USA start setting an infinite number of rates and terms.  I do not expect to collect taxes from my mail order sales originating in the other 49 states based on the sheer complication of the taxing task.  I don't need to know or be subject to an infinite number of tax rates and an infinite number of taxing authorities all across the country.  The accounting requirements would make my business unmanageable.)
        Then there is the jurisdiction issue.  The customer in 49 other states visit the neprimer.com site hosted on a computer in TX and the order payment is collected by snail mail and shipped by snail mail from FL.  What responsibility does neprimer.com have to 49 other states?
