Howdy Folks,
        Welcome to our June 2021 eNewsLetter.  This month is typically used to generate some interest for parents to consider like "Released Time Bible Class" which is a religious Bible Class held off-campus where the students leave school, go to class site and return after the class is over.  The COVID19 virus has caused the normal public school calendar to be suspended this year; and is likely to affect the fall schedule; therefore, parents have been forced into some form of homeschooling.  This newsletter will emphasize various homeschooling options.  Although Released Time Bible classes are not considered homeschooling perhaps Released Time Bible can become a "Zoomed" class over the internet.
      This month's words of wisdom that are not allowed in our public school curriculum is presented here for your information.
  1. Proverbs 4 (HCSB) - "A Father’s Example" - Wisdom is supreme - Bible Gateway  4:7.) Wisdom is supreme - so get wisdom. And whatever else you get, get understanding. 8.) Cherish her, and she will exalt you; if you embrace her, she will honor you.    The Wisdom of the Bible can be LEARNED; and, it can be TRUSTED.  Billions of people over millennia have profited from it ! 
  2. Proverbs 10:1-3 NKJV - Wise Sayings of Solomon  The proverbs of Solomon: 10:1.)  A wise son makes a glad father, But a foolish son is the grief of his mother. 2.) Treasures of wickedness profit nothing, But righteousness delivers from death. 3.) The Lord will not allow the righteous soul to famish, But He casts away the desire of the wicked.

Pastors here is a link to a video produced by Mat Staver Esq. of Liberty Council with a graphic from the video that shows how much civic education or lobbying a church is permitted to do without fear of the IRS.  The IRS has established a 5% to 15% rule and it's based on manhours.  Mat says that if your church has 69-1/2 hours of manhours a week and that you freely expend just the minimum of 5% then you can lobby up to 3-1/2 hours that week !   I'm certain that it means educating your congregation to vote righteously.(See the graphic and commentary at 27:43 min. into video.)

Suppose a church had 2 each 40 hr. pastors, 2 each part time assistants and 10 members that volunteer 1 hour week = 139 hours per week.  When take the 5% Rule you get 7 hours of civic education or lobbying per week !  That's almost a whole day!  Think of the possibilities - perhaps, civic education classes, voter registration, videos of republicanism, capitalism, researching your local representatives' world views, voting records, or how about a  School Board Candidate Questionnaire - Search
