1. How does the Dept of Ed carry out the process of developing a model policy per paragraph (6) of 2017-74 Religious Expression in Public Schools Law ?
2. Because this law involves freedom of expression, can the model policy be made strong i.e. bullet proof?  Or what will prevent or deter law suits by  antagonists from forcing a case to the US Supreme Court?
3. Will the DOE attorneys write it? 
4. Since the FL States Attorney will be expected to defend it, will they be involved in development?
5. Will legal law firms with massive religious liberty defense experience like:  Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) or/and Liberty Counsel (lc.org), etc. be involved?  If they aren't invited to participate would it be appropriate for them to review and comment on the policy?
6. Will the Senate Education Committee have a chance to review and comment on the policy?
7. What about including local in-school adjudication or/and school board reviews and/or appeals for adherence to the model policy?
8. It seems appropriate to instruct teachers and administrators in the legalities of this liberty and perhaps providing Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for them to know their boundaries.  Gateways to Better Education has a Faith, Freedom and Public School Education Workshop for teachers and administrators.  Texas already allows 7 CEUs for their school personnel completing the Education Workshop.

10. How would, or could, the 2017-74 Religious Expression in Public Schools Law apply to K-12.com Florida's online schools?

• (Dot 1)  Indicates that textbooks are not reviewable unless they happen to be in the school library or on a reading list (see more limitations in Dot 5).  I'm assuming that there are not going to be any textbooks in the library or on a special reading list.  See also the PDF, line 138  "The parent or resident must  file a petition, on a form provided by the school board, within  30 calendar days after the adoption of the material by the school board."  Just 30 days to review a book and file the form and have documentation of inappropriate material.  However, also see the PDF, line 331, which is paragraph 2. that includes the word "textbook".

• (Dot 3)  This is nice but labor intensive unless you can use prior research, such as Educational Research Analysts .  
• (Dot 7)  This is probably not a way to challenge Common Core textbooks.  This quote, "the purchase of materials that align with state standards and are included on the state-adopted list,"  implies that the state-adopted list includes Common Core materials or the current description that FL uses for their CCore materials are probably off limits.
